HOW TO REACH:
Form the nearest metro City, Kolkata, there are various options for reaching Moushuni Island.
By Train:
● Take train namkhana local from Sealdah to Namkhana (Rs.30/- from Sealdah)
● Take toto to Hujuter Kheya Ghat, Dosmayil ferry ghat, Bagdanga Ghat.
● Dosmayil Ferry ghat – The ferry ghat is first preference . You can walk around the place surrounded by mangroves and meet local people.
● Cross Chinai river by boat to Mousuni island (For four-wheelers, contact us before parking your car at the Ghat).
● Take toto to Mousuni Island Traveller’s Camp.
By Car :
● Take Bus Dharmatala to Bakkhali from Dharmatala(Esplanade) take a ticket for SAT MILE (7 Mile)
● Take Engine Van for Sat Mile to Hujuter Kheya Ghat
● Hujuter Kheya Ghat – The ferry ghat is also a beautiful place. You can walk around the place surrounded by mangroves and meet local people.
● Cross Chinai river by boat to Mousuni island (For four-wheelers, contact us before parking your car at the Ghat).
● Take toto to Mousuni Island Traveller’s Camp
